The Pyramid of Perception

It was a project like no other—a monument to the absurdity of societal structures, a symbol of everything wrong with TRD’s obsession with control. The Pyramid of Perception was being built at the heart of the Republic, but it wasn’t meant to be a simple structure. No, this pyramid was designed as a metaphor for the systems of power that governed TRD—an impenetrable, mysterious form with no clear function other than to stand tall and demand respect.

But the Kunstterrorists saw something different. To them, the pyramid was the perfect canvas for a message that would disrupt TRD's carefully constructed image. The idea was simple: infiltrate the construction site, leave an imprint of chaos, and disrupt the narrative that had been carefully sculpted around the monument.

Vera had devised a plan that would seem almost laughable if it weren’t so brilliant. Under the cover of night, the crew would replace the cornerstone of the pyramid with something else entirely. A simple object, but one that would be a beacon of rebellion. They would place a single, ordinary brick in the heart of the pyramid, labeled only with the word: “Why?”

They approached the central area of the pyramid where the cornerstone was to be laid. In the shadows, the large stone slab stood, waiting for its final resting place. With swift precision, the Kunstterrorists replaced it with their own brick, marking the start of the pyramid’s unraveling.

By dawn, the site was bustling with workers and government officials. When the time came to place the cornerstone, they found the simple brick with its defiant message. The workers stood in confusion, unsure how to proceed. The government attempted to replace it with another stone, but the damage had already been done.

The message had been planted: “Why?”

What followed was a chain reaction of questions. The pyramid, once a symbol of unity, now became a symbol of doubt. Why had it been built? Why were they following these orders? Why did they accept the systems of power that governed their lives?

The government tried to remove the brick, but it had already become a part of the structure.
