"The Market of Souls" critiques how capitalism commodifies human values like Happiness, Love, and Freedom. In this triptych, a marketplace sells these ideals in jars, starting with pristine, glowing products, but as the panels progress, the jars crack, and their contents fade, symbolizing the emptiness and disillusionment of consumer culture. By the final panel, the shattered jars spill out, exposing the hollow nature of capitalism’s promise, revealing how it devalues the very things that make us human.
