Containerized Identities (2025)

"Containerized Identities" explores the juxtaposition between industrialization, consumerism, and identity through the lens of the humble shipping container. This series blends the graphic aesthetic of street art with symbols of corporate power and social rebellion. Each container, battered by time and transformed by new identities, serves as a metaphor for the shifting landscapes of identity in the globalized world. The use of rust, faded logos, and cryptic labels creates a stark commentary on the impact of consumer culture, corporate branding, and the invisibility of the individual within the system. The project challenges viewers to reflect on the notion of identity in an increasingly containerized world, where personal values and expressions are often packaged, commodified, and shipped to distant shores.

MAERSHARK – "We’re not the fastest, we’re the fastest in the water... or so we think. Your package may end up in the sea.” HapNoyd – "Expect disappointment. We can guarantee you'll get something—though we’re unsure what or when.” FedUp – "We’ve had enough. So, when your package is finally delivered, don’t expect it to be on time. Or intact.” CargoShock – "We ship, we shock, and we don’t care about either. Expect your cargo to be just a little shaken up.” DockWreck – "Dock? Wreck? Yep, both are probable. If your container doesn’t get stuck, it might just sink instead."
